Little Green Moments of Fright

So I am sitting here at my desk in my room, browsing the internets, when something catches my eye. This praying mantis type thing is chillen on the F5 key on the keyboard. My initial thoughts are "oh God oh God oh God" but I quickly get the brilliant idea to scoop it up with a glass cup and a magazine. I mean, I couldn't kill it or anything. I will just let it die from natural causes...you know, suffocation. Ugggh I don't wanna look at it. Ok I am covering the glass now.


Whew, ok.. that's better.



Anyway, on a lighter, non creepy note, I felt incredibly peaceful on the drive home tonight. I was listening to Sodom South Georgia by Iron & Wine while lightning was flickering all around me. It honestly gave me goosebumps. It's those little moments in my life that give me joy in a melancholic sort of way. I don't know if that makes sense, but it does to me.


I think I shall read, and then try to fall asleep.


p.s. Where did the phantom bug come from? My window is closed...
