Snowmen and Christmas Trii's
So today we began to decorate the house with Christmas stuff. I love doing this and it reminds me every year how much I love this season. I put on my Christmas Mix I just made and danced through my house placing snowmen and santa's and garland all around. The pine scented candle filled the house and the smell immediately made me think of my childhood, when we would all go as a family into the mountains to the Christmas Tree Farm and pick out the perfect new addition to our home. I would pet the goats and ride the ponies, and my Mom always had cinnamon rolls for the drive up. Fantastic.
I am so ready to start shopping and wrapping, but I can't.. well not yet at least because it's Black Friday and I'm not a crazy person with a death wish.
Tonight I get to see some friends who have come into town for the weekend.. well "wii-kend" to be exact. I am going to go get dressed and ready to go hang out with them. Yay!

We're still enjoying the Autumn decore and won't decorate full throttle for Christmas until we return from our Palm Springs Anniversary get-a-wayon the 10th of December. However, I did unwrap a few of my favorite snowmen including the salt & pepper shakers (you can see them on my last post). I saw a few "firsts" for the season yesterday... the first car with a Christmas tree tied on the top, and the first house with icicle lights around the roof.

Christmas for our family was candycanes and eggnog, and the cristmas play thing in grade school. I played the bells that you had to wear those damn gloves for. I hated those gloves but it wasn't enough to keep me away from the bells. Once I actually was on a sleigh ride though a forest while it was snowing... but it wasn't as fun as the bells.
